Under the golden glow of an autumn harvest moon, Chicagoland's premier English Country Dance weekend returns for its tenth year. Three days of joyful dancing, world-class music, and the warmth of community await you at the beautiful Baker Community Center in St. Charles, Illinois. Mark your calendar — this is one October you won't want to miss.
Every year, the Harvest Moon Dance Weekend gathers dancers from across the Midwest and beyond for an unforgettable celebration of English Country Dance. With expert instruction, inspired live music, and the incomparable energy of a shared dance floor, the weekend offers something for everyone — from the curious newcomer to the seasoned ball-goer.
Join us Friday evening for a welcoming dance, spend Saturday honing your technique in two workshops and a dedicated ball practice, then sweep onto the floor for the Saturday evening Harvest Moon Ball. Close out the weekend Sunday morning with a relaxed farewell dance. It's three days of music, movement, and community at its very best.
We are still confirming our 2027 roster as we speak. Check back soon for updates!
The weekend is designed for maximum dancing and community time, with a beginner-friendly ball practice before Saturday's main event.
