Beyond our weekly dances, Chicagoland ECD brings the community together each year for larger celebrations — multi-day weekends filled with live music, skilled callers, workshops, and the particular magic that happens when dancers gather from across the region and beyond.
Our signature event is the Harvest Moon Dance Weekend, an annual three-day English country dance weekend held each October at the Baker Community Center in St. Charles, Illinois. Now in its ninth year, Harvest Moon has grown into one of the Midwest's most beloved dance gatherings, drawing newcomers and experienced dancers alike for a weekend of joyful movement, beautiful music, and warm community.
